History

The National Organization for Student Success – Wisconsin was recognized as an official chapter of NOSS in February, 2026. To become an official chapter, the founding members worked with leaders from the national organization, reviewed information from other state chapters, and established bylaws. 

In April, 2026, the first board of directors was sworn in: Mary LeBrun (co-president), Paul Svetlik (co-president), Kristin Sericati (President Elect), Shea Willmann (Secretary), Rachel Johnson (Treasurer), Lisa Degen (Board member), and Kristen Barszcz (Board Member).

The board’s first order of business was becoming a not-for-profit non-stock corporation in the state of Wisconsin, developing a website, and setting a date for the first conference.
